Growing up on the North Shore of Long Island, Captain Danny Gladstone has spent much of his life on the waters of the Atlantic Ocean and the Long Island Sound. His Passion for the water and fishing started when he was a young boy, where he learned the waters of the Long Island Sound and the art of fishing from his grandfather. Captain Gladstone is a member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary as well as an IGFA (International Game Fish Association) Certified Charter Captain.

Fins Up Charters is dedicated to the enjoyment and excitement that Sport Fishing offers. We strive to give our guests a great and relaxing day whether we are pursuing Bass, Blues, Fluke, Blackfish or Porgies. Although we believe strongly in the catch and release of most fish, we have also been known to enjoy a fresh Striped Bass on the grill after a great day of fishing. Specializing in "Family Fishing", Fins Up is a sturdy and seaworthy boat, with a full size cabin and plenty of room in the cockpit. Fins Up Charters also provides sightseeing and even a quiet retreat to a remote beach or cove. Maintaining a strict philosophy that safety is paramount, Fins Up is equipped with the latest in safety equipment, life saving devices, radio communications, electronic navigation and is inspected for USCG compliance on an annual basis.
